Balcón Rooftop at The Marmara Park Avenue Is Now Open
Balcón announces the season opening of its rooftop respite, situated atop of The Marmara Park Avenue hotel. The chic, open-air terrace sits 20 stories high, boasting breathtaking panoramic views of New York City’s skyline, including iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building.
The elevator opens to a long hallway leading into the bar, with floor-to-ceiling windows and extending out onto the open terrace. Through the fully retractable glass doors, the terrace, with stylish lounge seating, includes plush couches, chairs, and elegant white marble high-tops. Here, guests can soak up the sun or moonlight and become enveloped in the sweeping city skyline.
The season-opening marks the debut of Balcón’s new globally inspired menu of shared and small plates, by Executive Chef Ömür Özkan, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. Highlights include: Hot Dogs served with Pico de Gallo and chips, Turkey Club, and Cheese and Charcuterie Platter, among other selections.
