Seafood brand Blue Circle Foods and NYC seafood purveyor The Lobster Place hosted ta night of food, drinks and festivities at the Cull & Pistol Oyster Bar, in Chelsea Market. Guests had the opportunity to sample Blue Circle Foods’ Norwegian Salmon — which is raised in pristine Arctic waters by third-generation family farmers — while learning about the company’s innovations in sustainable seafood. Of all the food served, the salmon avocado toast was definitely my favorite.

Blue Circle Foods’ Norwegian Salmon is free from antibiotics, added hormones, GMOs and synthetic dyes, as well as contaminants such as mercury and PCBs. It is certified sustainable by Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch, the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and Ocean Wise. Due to its high omega-3 content, the salmon boasts a rich, buttery flavor and robust texture. Blue Circle Foods strives to revolutionize seafood through responsible practices that protect the oceans’ natural ecosystems and provide consumers with clean, nutritious seafood. Blue Circle Foods partners with trusted farms and fisheries that embrace the highest standards to source fish that chefs and consumers alike can feel good about.

Blue Circle Foods was lauded on renowned author and seafood expert Paul Greenberg’s Frontline episode, “The Fish on My Plate” as an example of ‘aquaculture done right’. Blue Circle Foods’ products have received numerous accolades for their superior sustainability and quality, including recognition by Delicious Living’s Best Bite Awards, the 2019 NEXTY Awards, and Phil Lempert, The Supermarket Guru.
