NSA Noodle Bar: Williamsburg Noodles with No Strings Attached
No Strings Attached Noodle Bar, also known by its acronym NSA, is an exciting new Global Noodle Concept restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. NSA features a unique menu that includes Seasonal Gyoza (house-made gyoza filled with pork, cabbage, and scallion, served with house-made spicy peanut butter sauce), Stuffed Macaroni Bites (four cheese cream sauce and Japanese sausage, served with arrabbiata sauce), Scallop Parmesan Fettucine (pan-seared Japanese scallops and fettuccine in a parmesan cream sauce with garlic chips, parsley, and chives) and Truffle Tonkatsu Ramen (house braised Chashu pork belly, seasonal truffles, Shio soft-boiled egg, menma, scallion, nori, and Naruto).
We began our meal with NSA’s virgin Mai Tai. I love a good Mai Tai and I was curious as to how a Mai Tai would taste without alcohol. It was refreshing as expected and the fresh fruits give everything an extremely natural taste. For apps, we had the Steam Buns (Braised Pork Belly, Garden Slaw and Spicy Mayo) and the Miso Honey Burrata (Buffalo Burrata, Honey-Miso Vinaigrette, Grilled Grape Tomatoes, Toast Sticks and Basil).
