Long Island’s Oniro Taverna & Lounge is making safety its number one priority. The team has taken extreme precautions to guarantee the safety of guests with temperatures checked upon arrival and contact information obtained for contact tracing. Hand sanitizer and masks are also available at all times.

Executive Chef Peter Spyropoulos (formally of Le Cirque and Bouley) puts together great dishes such as appetizers of Greek spreads with a choice of four including Melitzanosalata, a Greek eggplant dip; Tzatziki; Taramasalata, a cured cod-based dip, mixed with olive oil and lemon juice; Skordalia, blended almonds and garlic; and a classic hummus. The signature Greek Salad is made with plump vine ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, shaved white onion, Kalamata olives, and barrel-aged feta.

Some of the dinner menu highlights include a whole fish with a gorgeous presentation of Branzino; Lamb Chops, tender grilled lamb chops, served with lemon potatoes and tzatziki; and Cowboy Ribeye, prime bone-in 24 oz. ribeye with parmesan truffle potatoes.
